Where Weapon Parts come from
- Some class progression milestones award parts.
- Horde Siege side objectives and relevant events can provide parts.
- Weapon Part Stockpiles can involve cooperation with other squads.
Do not confuse finding parts during a run with keeping them after the run.
Extract before spending the reward
At least one member of your own squad must extract successfully to retain the mission’s Weapon Parts. If the whole squad fails, expect only partial XP rather than assuming the parts are safe.
The useful farming priority is therefore finish a mission reliably, then add manageable side objectives. No controlled parts-per-hour comparison supports a universally fastest route here.
Buy and equip a mod
- Reach the required unlock on the relevant class track.
- Spend retained Weapon Parts to purchase the unlocked mod.
- Equip it to the corresponding weapon.
Horde upgrades for the same weapon are shared across classes. Changing class does not mean buying the same weapon configuration again.
Avoid copying Beta reward rates
The September 30 launch notes reduced Invasion participation and Stockpile rewards while increasing related difficulty. An August Beta video’s farming rate does not establish the launch version’s return.
